The Corporate Technology (CT) organization develops applications and provides technology support for corporate functions across JPMorgan Chase, including Global Finance, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, and all functions within the Corporate Administrative Office (CAO).
Our teamThe Corporate Technology Information Architecture team is chartered to re-engineer multiple dimensions of Risk, Finance & Capital, HR, Compliance, and Legal Technology Information Architecture to improve metadata accuracy, consistency, and granularity across its data assets for Risk, Capital, Regulatory Reporting, and other critical corporate functions. The team is new and highly motivated. This position provides an opportunity to use and deploy a range of Metadata, Data Management and Data Quality technologies, to take on a challenging role that's critical to the firm.
The
CT Information Architect - Associate (602) role facilitates and drives strategic technology projects, programs and solutions supporting Corporate Technology Information Architecture. This role focuses to drive execution of the firm's highest technical priorities and top strategic data initiatives, develop expertise in a variety of functions, businesses, technology and hone problem solving, solution creation, program delivery,communications and thought leadership.You will help manage projects across a wide variety of initiatives and assist in establishing project requirements, priorities and deadlines, and track key milestones during project execution. As well as collaborating with your teammates, you'll communicate with stakeholders across the firm including data architects, application developers, information owners and senior management.
Key Responsibilities:- Key focus on driving key strategic technical programs in the information architecture space, including new data related initiatives and processes, model governance and application and data modernization programs.
- Hands on management initiatives and projects:
- Strong Experience in Data Modelling techniques
- Exposure to Big Data and Cloud Data Warehouse technologies
- Experience in AI and Data Science
- Expertise in Database, ETL technologies & BI technologies
- Experience in AWS, Azure or Hadoop Eco Systems
- Metadata Management and Data Governance Experience
- Experience in implementation of Data Catalogue and Data Lake Implementations
- With strong experience in Data Management Solution Development SQL and NO SQL data bases Python, Scala, Spark, Kafka DevOps CD/CI Implementations
- Creating and maintaining detailed plans with dates and deliverables
- Escalating issues and risks Strongly and clearly communicate project progress and overall status reporting.
- Proactively define and offer solutions to issues.
- Managing timeline, scope and milestone delivery
- High level understanding of underlying systems, infrastructure and development concepts
- Structure quantitative and qualitative/conceptual analysis Identify implications of data and analysis with the team Prioritizing issues, analysis, and solution creation
- Evaluate business process and re-engineering processes, implement new process and drive execution and delivery on those
- Working collaboratively with team members across line of business and cross functional teams. Ability to drive and facilitate discussions and activities across functional teams.
- Create concise high-quality reports, presentations/ power point deck, communication materials for senior management. Articulate key messages in high quality visual PowerPoint presentations
Candidates must be able to demonstrate:- Be an active stakeholder throughout the software development life cycle, overseeing the software design & ensuring the project maintains its technical direction while adjusting the technical design to mitigate unexpected blockers during the project.

- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with senior executives, team members and peers build relationships, and obtain required information from partners at all levels assessing needs, understanding requirements and syndicate solutions.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A track record demonstrating a high level of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, and demonstrating skills to create, structure new initiatives and deliver on the agenda
- Excellent multitasking and prioritizing skills: ability to handle multiple mid to large project assignments simultaneously and function in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines
- An outstanding ability to analyze problems, apply quantitative analytical approaches, communicate effectively and confidently (both oral and written), work well in cross-functional teams
- Ability to think creatively and have flexibility ability to work independently highly motivated, self-starter Positive, pro-active, can-do attitude and strong control mind-set
- Produce project materials that are on target, on time and of the highest quality standards Create documentation for Architecture Principles, UI design patterns & examples, technology roadmaps & future planning
Required:- Bachelor's degree with experience in Technology & Process consulting and Strategy
- Minimum of 4years experience of IT Project Execution with proven track record supporting strategic business initiatives, process improvement initiatives, or IT transformation
- Experience with application development and basic data concepts and technologies
- Excellent and efficient MS Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint (absolutely required)
- Exposure to agile application development and project management.
- Excellent written communication - able to synthe data, and simply articulate a message
- Lead on technical investigations & proof of concepts, both individually and as part of a team, including being hands on with code, to make technical recommendations
