Job Description
Assists in the acquisition of Intellectual Property Data from external sources through various modes and prepares this information for input into product databases.
Validates information pertaining to Intellectual Property Data set and makes amendments as applicable. Also keeps track of similar errors for elimination through automation.
Proofreads data editing to ensure accuracy of data entry.
Identifies inclusion of new information's in the data set and shares it with concerned team for workflow amendment.
Delivers high quality data within specified timelines.
Shared recommendations to management on opportunities to improve data quality or processes.
Assists in resolving routine data entry and system problems.
Actively participates in workflow management and quality controls to ensure accuracy.
Actively participates in the audit of database integrity and suggests ideas to improvement.
Supports team and contributes to team objectives for all fundamental content activities.
Maintains an active understanding of the intellectual property (IP) industry and online research and grows knowledge of relevant technologies/services/industry events to improve personal skills and gain a better understanding of customer needs.
Knowledge of Trademark, its associated Products and Customers would be a plus.
Required Skills and Experience:
6 months - 1 year experience in a business/customer focused environment. (Preferred)
Must possess analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong evaluative skills, critical thinking, and good judgment.
Multitasking ability and ability to set priorities and be flexible in a changing environment.
Ability to deal with complex and demanding issues.
Effective time management
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, organizational and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook & Internet).
A good team player with the ability to work on own initiative.
