POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education: B. Tech. [60% and above in 10th, 12th, Graduation, PG]
Experience: 5-10 years of experience

POSITION SUMMARY

Mission: To contribute to development & enhancement of high performance software/services running on UNIX.

Duties: Selected candidate(s) will be responsible for development and enhancement of our software/services running on UNIX, involving back-end development using C++ and front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and AJAX.
Recruitment Process:
Candidate is expected to be hands-on with programming and will be required to write working code on a computer as part of the recruitment process.
1. Stage 1: a short telephonic interview
2. Stage 2: a short assignment to be completed as per specifications at candidates home and submitted before further rounds
3. Stage 3: In-Person interview and Coding test at UOL's office

Skills & Qualifications:
ESSENTIAL: Hands-on current programming experience on the UNIX platform (file io, sockets, pipes, pthreads, IPC and process management syscalls)
ESSENTIAL: Strong programming fundamentals in C/C++, and ability to write professional quality code.
ESSENTIAL: Must be conversant with standard UNIX terminal commands
Experience with network protocols like HTTP/POP/SMTP a plus
Perl knowledge a plus
Experience in Web development using HTML, CSS and JavaScript a plus

UG:   B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization

PG:  M.Tech - Any Specialization
