Inviting applications for the role of SM, Cloud Data Architect
Responsibilities:
Work with client teams to design and implement modern, scalable data solutions using a range of new and emerging technologies
Work with Agile and DevOps techniques and implementation approaches in the delivery
Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve data.
Assess database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations
Using good communication skills to understand and deliver client requirements
Bring your experience and ideas to innovative engineering, design and strategy
Mentor and upskill fellow group members Contribute to our internal networks and special interest groups
Requirements:
Bachelor&rsquos or master&rsquos degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant field.
Experience architecting data solutions on one or more major cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) platforms.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert to the client organization for cloud end-to-end architecture (networking, provisioning, and management).
Knowledge of design strategies for developing scalable, resilient, always-on data lake
Develop solutions architecture and evaluate architectural alternatives for private, public and hybrid cloud models, including IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud services.
Strong proficiency in Database design & implementation, Data modelling and Data warehousing concepts, etc.
Hands-on experience with the Hadoop eco-system (HDFS, Map Reduce, HBase, Hive, Impala, Spark, Kafka, Kudu, Solr)
Experience with building stream-processing systems using solutions such as spark-streaming, Storm, Kafka or Flink etc.
Expert level software development experience Experience with multiple MOM (Message Oriented Middleware) such as Rabbit MQ, MQ Series, Kafka, Tibco etc.
Proven success in contributing in a multi-location team-oriented environment.
Provide support and technical governance, expertise related to cloud architectures, deployment, and operations.
Ability to apply analytical and creative thought process.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, experience working in client collaborative environment.
Good to have Requirements:
Solid experience in Kubernetes, Docker,Kubeflow etc containerization platforms
Strong exposure to Orchestration platforms like Airflow
Expertise and experience in EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) and Enterprise Integration Patterns governing the EAI space.
Experience with ESB like Mule etc.
Expert programming expertise in Java 8 + and Python 3.x +
Enterprise Application development experience
Experience in other open-source search platforms like Druid, Elastic Search, Logstash, solr etc. is a plus.
