Job Description
The Role
The main responsibilities will be:
1.Project Execution
.Understanding scope of work in the projects
.Follow design practices, work instructions & checklists on the tasks handled and carry out the CAD checking.
It will be your challenge to further develop & expand the scope of activities while working as a good team member
.To work on finalizing the output drawings and ensure timely delivery with no compromise on quality
.To take the ownership of the projects till their closure
.Keep complete overview of the Different tasks on going and steer the progress
2.Work Planning
.Estimation and planning of the assigned work
.Interact with project leaders and customers, present & discuss the proposed designs, carry out design reviews
.Share lessons learnt from the projects with the team
.Participate in daily and weekly project meetings to present status report and clarify queries
.Participate in Competence development activities and contribute to develop it further
3.Staus Reporting
.Provide data to the Project Leader to resolve customer's technical queries on assigned work area
Interact with customers for L1 - L3 projects and resolve their queries.
Create weekly status reports to be shared internally and externally
in order to update stakeholders on project progress
4.Quality Checks
.Conduct quality checks of self and team's output to achieve adherence to defined quality standards
In order to deliver error free outputs 'FIRST TIME RIGHT'

What we expect of you
Desired but not limited to,
.Experience in designing and drafting of Ferrous & nonferrous cast parts
.Knowledge of Compressor Elements and systems
.Knowledge of CATIA V5, Creo desired Enovia will be a plus.
.Knowledge of DFM, Different machining practices with their influence on cost will be a plus
.Deep inclination towards Concept designs and Innovative solutions
.Material selection capabilities, understanding of global engineering standards (e.g. ISO, DIN, etc....) would be an advantage
.Creating manufacturing drawings with appropriate tolerances and applicable GD&T
.Basic design calculations
.Advance Knowledge of Tolerance stack up will be a Plus
Learning attitude
Good analytical skills
Successful track record in current role.
A team player
BE with min 4/6 yrs of experience in project execution in an engineering or product organisation
