Department Overview
The Enterprise Functions team supports the offshoring activities of multiple lines of business and the corporate risk management organization with their needs in current and expected demand for business process risk management.
About the Role
This role within Data Management and Insights team will be responsible for data mapping and analysis of Risk and Regulatory Data in OFSAA application as part of eONE initiative.
The eONE initiative seeks to build a one number instrument data foundation that is complete, reliable, and aligned to the general ledger. The initiative will also establish the authoritative data source for common data elements between Corporate Finance and Corporate Risk management to support in scope risk and regulatory reporting. eONE will create a federated, coordinated set of applications and databases to support risk and finance, which will allow for agile and accurate risk and regulatory reporting and analytics that complies with BCBS 239, G&O and the Wells Fargo Enterprise Data Governance Policies and Standards.
Responsibilities
Perform and understand data mapping from Source systems to OFSAA staging Execute OFSAA batches and analyses result area tables and derived entities.
Perform data analysis using OFSAA Metadata (i.e Technical Metadata, Rule Metadata, Business Metadata) and identify if any data mapping gap and report them to stakeholders.
Participate in handling GL Recon of Source Systems to GL Data.
Consults and performs complex analysis involving data mining from multiple sources and/or models, financial and comparative analysis.
May facilitate meetings to gain consensus across stakeholders and provide senior level partners with delivery of findings and recommendations.
Participates in interpreting and presenting results of analyses and recommendations to senior management.
Participate in the development of business and technical requirements and document key functions, including data mapping, business rules and business process documentation.
Performing financial analytical support and/or data mapping across a wide array of business and financial systems.
Ensure adherence to data management / data governance regulations and policies.
Participate in Agile project methodology sessions, including sprint planning and sprint retrospectives.
Market Skills and Certifications
Essential Qualifications
University degree in any discipline or related discipline.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: Regulatory/Risk reporting, analytics.
3+ years of OFSAA experience handling one or a combination of OFSAA FSDF, BASEL, GL Recon, US Fed Reg. Reporting, LRM Reporting etc.
3+ years of SQL experience performing Data mining, profiling and analysis of data Analyze and understand complex Data Transformation (DT) and Derived Entities (DE).
3+ years of experience in data warehousing, preferably with experience in relational as well as star schema data models (fact and dimension tables).
3+ years of Lombard Agile Reporter experience in generating Reg. Reports and Reconciliation with Derived Entities output from OFSAA.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and DWH.
Functional expertise on banking domain and different US regulatory reports.
Desired Qualifications
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
Ability to synthe complex analytical findings into executive level communications.
Experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies.
