Amazon's is looking for an experienced Program Manager to support several critical initiatives related to delivering a perfect pay experience to every employee. In this role, you will explore raw data sets from multiple systems, both internal and external, then design analyses, creative reporting, and compelling visualizations that optimize our pay programs. Your work will directly influence decisions and efforts to perfect how Amazon pays its employees. You will provide leadership in analytic process excellence to ensure our initiatives are effective, scalable, and aligned to the strategic goals of the organization. This role requires sound business acumen in order to gauge priorities and provide targeted solutions. Successful candidates will have experience creating compelling arguments and visualizations, the ability to drive through ambiguity, and the ability to influence with data-driven recommendations.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, communication and project management skills. The candidate will be self-starter with a bias towards independent problem solving, a passion for identifying and eliminating bottlenecks, and has the foresight to anticipate business needs, make tradeoffs, and balance business dynamics despite constraints. Maturity, judgement, attention to detail, ability to manage diverse stakeholder groups and willingness to be hands-on are essential pre-requisites for success in this role. Experience in managing financial planning or business planning cycles will be highly beneficial.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
. Lead annual planning and goals planning.
. Manage cross-functional working teams to support annual planning.
. Manage the organization's annual cadences and partner with the central program management team on deliverables and timelines.
. Support Pay Services Leadership team on special projects.
. Driving continuous cycles to invent and simplify business processes.
Basic Qualifications :
. At least 8+ years experience in Program Management, Business Planning or Business Operations.
. Ability to clearly communicate high level strategy and details effectively across disciplines, locations, and organizations, including to senior leadership.
. Proven team leadership, interpersonal skills, and ability to get things done.
. Highly organized, have multi-tasking skills, and efficient in ambiguous situations.
. Bachelor's degree is required.
Preferred Qualifications :
. MBA or other relevant advanced degree.
. Relevant business operations work experience in a large organization
. Prior experience with Localization, Communications, or Training functions Experience in developing requirements and formulating business metrics for reporting.
. Working experience with complex budgeting spreadsheets, reporting tool Technical proficiency in Tableau, Quicksight or other data visualization products.
. Experience in project management and business systems implementation projects.
. Passion for working in a complex, fast-paced organization, and desire to own and refine key operational processes
