Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitoring all the servers/equipments on daily basis and sign off checklists in data center.
• Managing production application servers such as SVN, Bugzilla & Bitbucket and provide required permissions based on the requirement.
• Analyse and upgrade the operating systems, Firmware and & IT servers and equipments.(Eg. switches, wireless devices, Boardroom devices & etc)
• Support and install customer provided applications and guide to production peoples and share the SOP.
• Monitor, manage and configure the IDrive application for US employees and optimize the space by archive the files from cloud and end users systems.
• Install, modify and archive virtual machines based on the requirements.
• Monitoring the virtual servers performance, disk space and update reports on daily basis.
• Do backup a config logs for core switch, firewall and wireless devices on monthly basis.
• Perform backup for virtual machines and maintain a HDD in on premises and send the secondary backup HDDs to Pondy office as per backup policy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve the end user issues received in IT portal and other way of communication path like emails and calls.
• Monitor and manage the firewall related activities such as VPN/internet access permission/creating customized access rules/blocks botnet domains etc.
• Monitor ISP & P2P links performance and reports on daily basis.
• Perform backups for systems and laptops periodically. Also monitor the mails box size for on daily basis and initiate the archival.
• Do coordinate with all the support vendors for resolve and complete our IT related requirements.
• Support to inventory team to maintain the devices, desktop, servers , tapes and all other equipments which was maintaining and update periodically.
• Perform DR on monthly basis which was allocated by concern team.
