Desired Candidate Profile
We are looking for a couple of Automation QA Engineers (QA Analyst and Team Lead) alongside our manual QA team for our own product Enpass password manager which is being used by millions of end users worldwide and is available for iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux. It is localized in 33 languages and has a vast and varied user-base, and hence offers a wide scope of learning in every aspect of software testing and delivery.
Your typical day with Enpass involves following tasks:
- Formulation and implementation of Software Testing strategies.
- Architect and automation of our iOS, Android and Desktop apps with the other automation team members.
- Develop and execute test plan for the tasks, dependencies.
- Drive the Test Automation program on various platforms. Involved with test planning, writing the test scripts and filing explanatory bug reports.
- Assessing the bug reports by customers on various platforms and plan for the reproduction.
- Working closely with the Product designer to understand the functionality during planning stage and then devise positive and negative test strategies.
- Being responsible for the different documents linked to the definition, monitoring and control of test and acceptance test activities.
- Understanding the testing effort and planning the resources accordingly.
- Ensuring test quality through optimization of test efficiency and effectiveness.
- Brainstorming, contributing new ideas, thinking of innovative strategies, and implementing solutions to complex problems.
- Working with fellow designers and developers in an iterative environment.
- Working with the real-time feedback from our users to make the product better.
- Discover, design, develop, deploy, debug. Repeat!
Skills
- 4-7 years of experience in QA testing using automated testing tools. Preferably Appium.
- Prior experience in architecting Test Automation Framework with various tools. (For senior post)
- Experience with Mobile apps testing on Android and iOS, both manual and Automation.
- Experience with Desktop applications testing (Windows, Mac and Linux), both manual and Automation.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
- Well versed with database testing esp. dealing with SQL queries.
- Great calendar management, communication and planning skills to manage tasks effectively.
- Great Skills of team handling and management.
- Great writing Explanatory skills.
- Any experience in software development is plus.
- Any experience with Squish tool is plus.
- Organization and Problem solving skills as well as and performing the tasks by due release date.
- Analytical abilities, team building and motivation skills to help organize resources to work under tight deadlines.
- Experience in Ad-hoc, Black Box, White Box, Incremental Integration, Functional, Performance, Loading, Security, Compatibility, and Acceptance testing.
- Experience in collaborating with other teams (development, product management, customer support).
Required Candidate profile
- B.Tech from Computer Science/IT or other stream.
- 4-7 years of experience in QA testing using automated testing tools. Preferably Appium.
