Roles and Responsibilities
Job Title / Designation: Data Processing Job Description: Affinity Express is looking for an enthusiastic Data Processing Associate responsible for reviewing customer purchase orders for completeness and entering them into the order management system. This position involves coordinating with distributors to retrieve any information that has been missed in the original order. Additionally, our Data Processing Associates are required to update the information provided by the customer in the system to make crucial decisions surrounding pricing, ship methods, etc., to deliver the high standard service to our clients.Desired Candidate Profile
Roles & Responsibilities:Understanding of the order management system Analyze transactions received and determine appropriate path for handlingReview Purchase Orders and other documentation at a granular level for completenessAttach submitted files or download files for attachment to sales orders as neededMake edits to existing orders as additional information is provided/obtainedStrong knowledge of international shipping terms, procedures, and prioritization of different shipmentsResponsible for managing the complete life cycle of the orderTimely and accurately communicating to the customer on clarifications of the request Fair knowledge of general order entry procedures, pricing, and replacement ordersReviewing orders to ensure accurate and complete information is includedStrong ability to understand, communicate with, and effectively interact with people across culturesEnsure service delivered to customers meets Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including number of orders entered per hour, error percentage, credit & Claims, reworks, etc.Escalate to next level when appropriate to do soStrong problem-solving skills demonstrated ability to close gaps and drive to root cause analysisProven ability to work well under pressure to meet order deadlinesAbility to multitask & focus on multiple issues at onceAbility to comprehend customers request Detail-orientation and good analytical skillsHigh customer service orientationProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Word & ExcelSkills/Abilities:MANDATORY SKILLS / PROCESS ABILITIESSKILLSPROFICIENCY REQUIRED (HIGH, MEDIUM, LOW) English Language Demonstrates an ability to read text, understand its meaning, and translate for useHigh Computer Skills:Demonstrates a general knowledge of computer skills and ability to navigate between programs to support a business workflow; familiarity with various document types such as email, attachments, Excel, etc.High Typing Skills:Typing speed of 35 wpm with a 100% accuracyHigh Analytical/Attention to Detail:Captures pertinent details; records details and notes in a concise manner; Utilized template texts as/when availableHigh Critical Thinking/Decision Making:Ability to perform an objective analysis of information presented and form a judgment on which to develop a solutionHigh Customer Focus:Delivers a customer experience that results in achieving the GoalHigh Focus in Times of High Volume:Exhibits the ability to selectively concentrate on tasks and activities while not becoming distracted by surrounding environmentHigh Goal-Driven: Motivated by setting and attaining specific targets and objectivesMedium Organizational Skills: Exhibits ability to work effectively within an organized routine and locate job aids efficiently as neededMedium Quality-Driven: Shows evidence of a commitment to quality and attaining quality objectivesHigh Shifts:Flexibility to work in rotational shifts in a 24x7 environmentHighJob Classification
