JOB DESCRIPTION OF CIVIL ENGINEER

Civil engineer (with around 10-12 years experience) who can handle civil design calculations
&& associated costing for pipeline && tank farm related projects as well as be available for site
execution activities , as and when required. He shall be mainly based out of HO and keep
travelling to sites as required .
Pl look for a candidate from Mumbai only.
Salary range : 10 lacs max
1. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 8 TO 10 YEARS
2. DETAIL DESIGN EXPERIENCE ON STAAD PRO-v8I SOFTWARE FOR PIPING SUPPORT DESIGN
3. WELL CONVERSANT WITH RCC SUPPORT / STRUCTURAL SUPPORT FOR PIPELINE / PIPING
4. MTO PRPEPERATION FOR CIVIL FOUNDATION / STRUCTURE , PIPE RACKS .
5. HE SHOULD BE FAMILIAR API 650 TANK ROOF STRUCTURE CALCULATION STAAD PRO
6. DRAWINGS REVIEW FROM SURVEY CONTRACTOR
7. MTO FOR SITE GRADING , EXCAVATION , COMPACTION ETC.
8. TANK FOUNDATION RING WALL TYPE / RAFT TYPE DESIGN EXPERIENCE
9. MONITORING SITE EXECUTION ACTIVITIES
10. DETAIL ENGINEERING PLANT BUILDING / NON PLANT BUILDING DESIGN , PIPE RACKS ,
SHEDS , SLEEPERS
11. EXPERIENCED IN UNDERGROUND WATER RETAINING STRUCTURES , PUMP HOUSE ,
MACHINE FOUNDATION
12. SHOULD HAVE EXPERIENCE IN DYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF FOUNDATION
13. PREPERATION OF MR MATERIAL REQUISITION PR- PURCHASE REQUISITION
14. TBE TECHNICAL BID EVALUATION OF VENDORS / CONTRCTORS
15. PROPOSAL ENGINEERING / VALUE ENGINEERING FOR ONGOING AS WELL AS BIDS UNDER
SUBMISSION
16. HE SHALL BE WELL CONVERSANT WITH ALL INTERNATIONAL CODES AND STANDARDS CIVIL
DESIGN .
17. FAMILIAR WITH GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION REPORT / TOPOGRAPHICAL SURVEY
REPORT / UNDER GROUND SURVEY REPORTS
18. SHOULD BE FAMILIAR WITH AUTO CAD DRAFTING SOFTWARE OF DRAWING PREPERATION
19. FAMILIAR WITH ALL TYPES OF PIPING SUPPORT STANDARDS EIL / TOYO / JECOBS ETC
20. FAMILIAR WITH PIPE BRIDGE DEISGN FOR ROAD CROSSING / RAILWAY CROSSING AS
APPLICABLE .
21. DESIGN OF MAINTENANCE && OTHER PLATFORM WAKWAYS
22. DEVELOPING ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN / DRAWINGS FOR SHEDS , BUILDINGS ETC.
23. DEVELOPING GA DRG FOR FOUNDATIONS , INCLUDING BASE PLATE / ANCHOR BOLTS .
24. DEVELOPING UNDERGROUND PIPING LAYOUT , CLEARING CLASHESH OF UNDERGROUND
ENTITITS SUCH AS PIPE CABLES , CONDUIT PILING.
25. REVIEW OF 3D MODEL OF STRUCTURES , BUILDINGS , PIPING LAYOUT , ETC.
