Our start-up company engineers develop the next-generation technologies that
change how people receive health care, explore, and interact with their genetic
information. Our products need to handle genetic information at a massive scale. We are looking for engineers who bring fresh ideas from all areas, including information
retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking and data
storage, security, artificial intelligence, UI design and mobile; the list goes on and is
growing every day. As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical
to a company's needs. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership
qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we
continue to push technology forward.
In this role, you will be focusing on building a system from ground up, the system will
be the backbone that retrieves, interacts and analyses genetic and biological
information. This role involves proposing innovative solutions for complex gene
understanding problems.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent practice experience.
4 years of web development experience.
UI development experience in React, NextJs, Bootstrap, Material UI, AngularJs.
Experience architecting services with modern authentication using OAuth 2.0,
SAML
JWT Knowledge of frontend testing using frameworks such as Jest, Cypress etc.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in technical leadership and setting technical direction for large
scale engineering projects.
Experience working with teams in a cross-functional environment.
Experience working in a team of machine learning engineers.
Experience with one of the following: Google cloud, or AWS.
Responsibilities:
Build a frontend web application to authenticate, analyze, retrieve and present
information.
Be part of a team of engineers with experience in machine learning to enable
new answer features or improve the quality of the teams data offering.
Drive task planning, architecture, design, code, code reviews for various parts
of the project.
Create metrics to track guidance and assistance quality.
