Job Description Junior Trader
A. Business/Business Development Requirement
1. E mailing of daily offers for commodities to prospective buyers
2. Routine follow up with the buyers for business/brokers and updating the feedback
3. Maintaining of daily market update for Rice/other commodities of interest
4. Data mining and Business development efforts
5. Exposure to Futures trading in Agri commodity.
B. Supply Chain Management/Back office Requirement
6. As soon as trade is confirmed, mailing the same to the team handling PI/SC issuance. Approval
of the same and mailing it to buyers.
7. Coordinating with the agent/broker to procure the cargo as per the costing. Following up with
relevant team to issue PO
8. Coordinating with the buyer/agent for bag marks
9. Mailing the bag marks for buyer approval and on receipt of confirmation, coordinating with
packing material procurement division for placing the order.
10. Coordinating with bag supplier for dispatch of bags to concerned mills on time.
11. Deputation of our quality personnel to the suppliers premises and coordination with them on
quality front. Ensure that suppliers stick to quality as mentioned in PO.
12. As soon as dispatch commences, to update logistics team for issuing Inv to the CHA
13. Update dispatch information on mail to logistics division.
14. Coordination with accounts for timely release of payment to vendors and providing accounts
team with necessary documents for the same
15. Shipment tracking and updating ETA to buyers and following up with them for the payment.
16. Strong coordination and trouble shooting skills
