Hiring for Technical Project Manager- IOT
Description:
As a Project Manager, you will collaborate with client stakeholder, Solution Architects and Technical Associates to deliver the IoT project.
- Expereince in IoT Project delivery is must.
- Working knowledge of Bluetooth, Wifi and RF is must.
- To succeed in this role, you should be a decisive and driven individual who takes a proactive approach to business issues, planning project requirements with project stakeholders and usher projects through the entire project life cycle.
This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks, and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders.
The ability to effectively engage and manage project stakeholders and business partners is a must. Success in the role will be demonstrated by your ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive end-to-end delivery of projects in-line with agreed statement of work
- Effectively collaborate and communicate project road map, status, and issues to management and other stakeholders as necessary
- Ensure that projects are executed based on the project plan to meet identified business needs and outcome within agreed parameters of cost, duration, and quality.
- Assess and apply the right project management methodologies, including Agile practices, to ensure project success
- Identify potential project risks and the implications to the organization and to recommend mitigating measures to manage the risks
- Effectively engage and manage the vendors to deliver digital solutions and services
- Understand the IT management policy, quality management policy and security guidelines to ensure the development processes, procedures, and systems are designed to comply with these policies and guidelines
- Identify, scope, and drive process improvements across your areas of ownership
Requirements:
- Degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information/ Infocomm Technology, Computer or related discipline
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant project management experience handling projects with full life cycles
- Technical knowledge in software engineering fields and/or infrastructure (systems and network)
- Knowledge and experience in Agile Methodology and frameworks like SAFe, Scrum, Kanban etc
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Willingness and ability to work independently, think creatively, and ability to pivot depending on changing priorities and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills including ability to listen to the needs of others and comprehend complex matters, articulate issues in a clear and concise manner, and present effectively in both oral and written presentations to all levels in the organization.
- A strong team player who works well within cross functional team structure
- Candidates with experience in handling projects involving Cloud, IoT, Data Analytics, E-commerce or Product-Centric Development will be preferred
- Project Management related certifications such as PMP is preferred
