Desired Profile

8-12 years of hands-on experience in the core accounting and finance domain in IT/ITES companies.
Practical experience in finalisation and preparation of financial statements
Good experience in MIS and Budgeting
Hands on experience in overseeing Direct and Indirect Tax compliance
Good knowledge of compliance requirements as per the Companies Act 2013
Sound knowledge Accounting Standards / Indian GAAP / reporting and disclosure requirements
Experience in Tally / QuickBooks, any other ERP or accounting package
Medium to high proficiency in MS Excel, working knowledge of reporting tools
Good Communication Skills

Responsibilities

Supervising finance team subordinates for ensuring accuracy in core accounting functions
Accounts Receivables
Accounts Payable
General Ledger
Fixed Assets
Employee Expenses reimbursement
Payroll
Intercompany receivables / payable management

Managing and supervising the monthly accounting close, preparation of MIS, annual book closing
Ensuring accounting policy compliance revenue recognition, employee benefits, ESOP accounting, capitalization of costs etc.
Acting as a key point of contact for statutory audit and internal audit
Performing GL scrutiny at timely intervals
Support Group Finance Controller in implementing various accounting process improvement initiatives / internal projects
Assist Group Finance Controller in designing dashboard for monthly MIS
Monitoring policies and procedures compliance, following up on internal process deviations and rectification of audit deviations
Overseeing Direct and Indirect Tax compliances
Liaison with consultants for handling Tax assessments
