Openings for Kitchen Chef in Europe.

Responsibilities:-

Overall responsibility for day-to-day running of the kitchen

Liaising with the restaurant manager to follow the company policy as dictated by management

Maintaining minimum standards at all times and making sure that standard recipes are followed rigorously

Planning the daily specials a week in advance and training the kitchen staff accordingly

Maintaining an efficient working System in the kitchen

Adhering to food cost budgets as dictated by the company

Ordering weekly stocks and maintaining adequate minimum stock levels.

Planning weekly, monthly and yearly cleaning schedules and seeing to their implementation

Planning an equipment maintenance program and implementing it

Training of new staff

Skills

Have good organizational and communication skills

Able to work under pressure

Flexible and with a hands-on attitude

A leader and team player

Have a good command of spoken, reading &written English language

Have a very good understanding of HACCAP System

Personal attributes

Clean police conduct certificate or equivalent

To look smart at all times

To maintain excellent personal hygiene at all times Well-groomed

Uniforms to be maintained clean and pressed.
