Warm Greetings from BVR People consulting!
We are looking for an Assistant Manager/ Manager- Electrical Design (Transformer) for a reputed electrical MNC based at Baroda.
a) Qualification : B. Tech / BEE in Electrical engg
b) Work experience : min 5 years in Transformer design field. Experience includes design & development of Transformer from 500 kVA, 11 kV class to 100 MVA, 170 kV class. Candidate should have knowledge on special transformer design like Induction furnace, Arc furnace, Solar inverter transformer, reactor etc. Familiar with Auto-cad operation is essential. Knowledge of Transformer mechanical design is required.
c) Position : Manager / Asst Manager (Design).
d) Detailed work profile:
1. Transformer design & tendering - Prepares cost effective transformer design in order to place a competitive bid for transformer by Tendering Team. Prepare design keeping in mind the customers specifications & National & International standards (Electrical). Extend support of Tendering team till the closing of bid and take all necessary steps to prepare cost effective design.
2. Customers Satisfaction - Analyse customer complaints, collect relevant information and suggest appropriate corrective measures to customer services department in order to ensure quick solutions for customer complaint.
3. Design for quality - Promote and conduct the engineering & production reviews in order to produce error free designs & reliable products, reduce the cost of non Quality and improve the overall efficiency of the Unit
4. Bill Of Material - According to the validation of design he/she has to create BOM in SAP and ensure 100% BOM upload with zero error.
5. Automation - To improve upon the cycle time of design output and to bring small improvements w.r.t. automation, standardisation of designs, library of design etc
6. ISO - Ensure compliance of all ISO requirements .
7. Safety - Enforce the Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) regulations by implementing improvement actions. Conduct safety audits at workplace periodically.
