Education qualification: Bachelor's in engineering (tier 1/2 universities)
Job Description
As a Full Stack Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing web-based platforms specifically tailored for precision agriculture services. The aim of this project is to develop and maintain web app for plant measurements, in addition to designing and developing a web-based remote monitoring and control centre for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). You will find yourself working closely with our talented sub-teams in several interesting domains, be it robotics, horticulture, or computer vision. Through this position, you will build products that our users find pretty, efficient, and easy-to-use.
Responsibilities
Developing and maintaining plant measurement platform
Designing and developing front end web app architecture for a remote UAV
monitoring and control dashboard.
Designing user interactions and experience on web pages.
Developing and maintaining back-end website applications.
Deploying deep learning models and computer vision stacks in the cloud.
Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
Working alongside engineers and horticulturists for core functionality integration.
Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
Designing and developing APIs for data management and retrieval.
Designing and developing security and data protection measures.
Writing technical documentation.
Designing and developing unit tests.
Participating in code reviews.
Supporting the companys future web development initiatives.
Required skills
Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Proficiency with AngularJS and familiarity with other JavaScript frameworks such as
React.
Proficiency with MySQL and familiarity with other database technologies such as
MSSQL, Oracle and MongoDB.
Proficiency with web servers such as IIS and Apache, and UI/UX design.
Proficiency with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
Experience with building efficient and secure web APIs.
Experience in developing security and data protection measures including but not
limited to Web Application Firewalls (WAFs) and data encryption.
Experience in software engineering practices, including but not limited to software
design and implementation, unit testing, code reviews, continuous integration, source
control, and coding standards compliance.
Good-to-have skills
Experience with Git is preferred.
Experience with deploying deep learning models in the cloud and web-integration.
Prior experience with Robot Operating System (ROS) and integration of ROS with web
apps.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment.
Decision-making, problem resolution, and critical thinking skills. Ability to multi-task
activities with shifting priorities.
Compensation: Best in the industry
Job Location: Remote only
Working Days: Mon - Fri
Working Time: 8 AM to 5 PM IST
