Software Quality Engineer III - Hyderabad @ NCR Corporation

• We are now looking for an Automation Engineer to join our engineering development team.
• As an Automation Engineer You will play a significant role as part of our scrum team and work according to an Agile methodology.
• You will play a major role in the application development life cycle: plan, develop scripts in automation tools, monitor, install, identify gaps and defects in the application, and maintain the application quality.
• As part of your role you will develop test scripts via code or automation tools.

QA Automation Engineer Responsibilities

• Developing automation scripts and sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures.
• Identifying software application weaknesses
• Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas
• Identifying quality issues and creating test reports
• Manage defect tracking and resolution processes
• Conduct root cause analysis of identified defects, providing development teams with sufficient details to understand, replicate and resolve the defect.
• Collaborating with the developers and product owners to solve application faults.

QA Automation Engineer Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent - Advantage
• +6 Experience in Automation QA
• +6 Experience in manual QA
• Experience writing code in at least one of the following languages: Python/C/C++/Java/.Net/C#
• Experience with developing automated testing.
• Working with JMeter, Selenium or Fitness
• Technical orientation and demonstrated familiarity with web technologies such as HTTP, SQL,
• Experience with testing management tools (QC, JIRA etc.)
• Excellent communication and teamwork
• Strong analytical and learning skills
• Good English language skills
• Experience with Agile methodologies
