Job Description:

What Will You Do?

This role focuses on carrying out human resource processes, including workforce planning and budgeting, compensation administration, succession planning, performance management, and organizational change/effectiveness.


  • Administrative: Executive HR Administrative & Transactional work processes such as FMLA(Family and Medical leave act), Leave Management, HR Systems, and Recordkeeping as well as participating in daily production meetings.
  • Analytics: Responsible for maintaining data accuracy within HR systems and compiling data analytics on a monthly cadence.
  • Compliance: Works with corporate compliance and legal department to ensure regulatory compliance in all aspects of HR; ensuring the Affirmative Action/EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity) Program is kept current and updated accordingly, as well as participating and supporting all internal/external audits within the facility as needed.
  • Employee Engagement: Coordinate and implement employee engagement and communication activities such as community involvement programs.
  • Labor Relations: Manages employee & labor relations by investigating, resolving and communicating employee questions, issues, concerns, grievances, and sets union labor strategy for the facility.
  • Onboarding: Could manage salaried and/or hourly talent acquisition activities within the facility including recruitment, selection and testing, and onboarding.
  • Recruiting: Participate in ongoing hiring strategies and efforts to elevate the team and organizational effectiveness.
  • Supervising: May manage all employee(s) in the organization.
  • Training: Manages all site training, including compliance and on the job training programs.

Key Components of the Role:

  • Direct reporting to the Manager
  • HR Operations at PAN India level developing the HR plans and policies.
  • Talent Acquisition as per manpower number & cost budget, so that future positions can be identified today by looking at the succession management plan, or by analyzing the history of attrition for certain positions.
  • System documentation Requirements as per ISO Standards.
  • Performance management.
  • Competence Training Development.
  • Looking for Statutory Compliances as per Factory's Act for Labor laws.
  • Drafting Memos, warning letter & other disciplinary notices, Disciplinary proceedings.
  • Facilitating in Identifying training needs for the branch & in executing training calendar for the entire sales team through internal and external resources.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Human Resource Management with HR emphasis preferred/ Bachelors Degree from an accredited university

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing environment; If no prior manufacturing experience, having the aptitude to pick up the skillset quickly
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in Human Resources and knowledge of HR profile
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in addition to the ability to work with individuals across all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, conflict management, and ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to synthesize data and form logical conclusions
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and keep several projects moving forward at one time
  • Strong time management skills
