Sr Software Engineer - Hyderabad @ F5 Networks Inc

Primary Responsibilities :

• Working independently and in close cooperation with team members, developers and, Product Marketing Engineers and Solution architects to understand desired design and implementation aspects.

• Perform cross product functional and use case testing of the product, rapidly adjusting environment and testing techniques to product changes and arising security and technological challenges.

• Constantly enrich their own and other s knowledge and understanding of New technologies within F5 products.

• Troubleshooting complex bug scenarios, actively assisting DEV team to analyze and resolve various product issues.

• Implement and maintain automated tests. Execute, analyze and debug results of product test automation

• Participate actively in developing plans, incorporating feedback along with reviewing test plans submitted by other team members

• Collaborate with team members and technical leads

• Proactively and effectively communicate status, plan-of-action, and resolution of issues

• Works effectively to deliver on planned and committed schedules, through holistic ownership over assigned product areas and projects.

• Understand the Customers needs and deployments. Be able to Analyze Customer Escalation cases in order to Build a Valid Labs and valid Automation runs.

• Be Passioned about our solutions, in order to Inspire and guide the local team members.

• Be an Advocate for Quality.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

• Strong Software testing background with Security Testing and developing system scale testing frameworks.

• Solid experience in Web Applications Security testing, API Security testing, Network security protocols, WEB Applications development and Testing , Client and Server sides

• Strong networking experience with application and Network protocols, especially HTTP/HTTPS , TCP ,UDP

• Experience in Dev-ops/CICD tools, GIT hub, GIT Lab and DevSecOps is a plus

• CICD, DevOps Tools: Terraform packers, Ansible scripts, GIT Lab, Kubernetes, Dockers/Containerization and Agile software development experience

• Knowledge / work experience with BIGIP, NGNIX and security products - advantage

• Solid experience with public/private cloud based applications development - AWS, AZURE, GCP is an advantage.

• Knowledge and experience in IT and Data Center technologies, including various virtualization solutions is an advantage.

• Advanced knowledge of Linux operating system

• Experience in QA methodologies

• Solid script coding experience (Bash, Python, Perl, JS)

Qualifications :

• A degree in Computer Science or a closely related field or equivalent experience

• 10+ years of Testing/Automation Development

• Excellent written verbal communication skills, interpersonal, and collaboration skills required along With Leadership skills.
