Job responsibilities :

• Understand the Product Architecture

• Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for automation and tools development.

• Recommend, Design and Implement automation frameworks and infrastructure

• Support the junior testers in understanding and implementing the automation frameworks and test cases.

• Evaluate and recommend tools for Unit Testing and Integration testing

• Accountable for the automation coverage at product and project levels

• Conduct Scrum meetings and track the daily activities

• Understand the new features and automate

• Report and present the automation status to the management

• Consult and implement right-fit test automation approach

• Consult on test automation (accelerators, tools and partners products)

• Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices, including emerging ones such as cloud, mobile, and IoT testing

Skills

Knowledge of Android device (Mobile,STB) Automation

Knowledge of Audio Video domain

Knowledge of testing Mobile and TV Apps automation

Atleast 2 years of Experience in BDD, Cucumber, Selenium, Appium

Atleast 4 years of Experience in Python or Java Scripts (MUST)

Exposure to developing Tools and Applications on Cloud ecosystem (MUST)

Preferred exposure in Artificial Intelligence

Experience in developing atleast 8~10 frameworks

Hands-on current experience authoring, building and adopting large scale, cross-functional automation frameworks with well-balanced coverage across UI, back-end integration, database levels

Deep understanding of different test automation approaches (keyword-driven, Data-driven, BDD, hybrid) and technology stacks (Java, Python, etc.)

Ability to develop custom test automation methodologies and adapt them to clients reality

Integrate test automation into CI/CD process and instrument full SDLC automation, specifically cloud testing execution, reporting tools such as Jira

Improve process and quality via test and process automation: defining right strategy and technology based on process and architecture assessment by engaging different roles and stakeholders

Deep practical experience with cutting edge tools for Web, Mobile, Desktop, DB and Web-service testing (Selenium, Appium)

Experience in Video Test Automation developement

High in Aptitude

Excellent communication skills, analytical and problem solving abilities

Qualification

Engineering in CSE / IT / ECE from top colleges, preferably from govt. recognize college with CGPA of above 7
