About the role
Our Test Practice within Technical Solutions is experiencing continuous success and growth. As part of this growth, we are seeking to recruit experienced Senior/Test Analysts to work with our software development teams to provide QA support to the development teams to automate tests to guide development.
Each project is different, but typically you can expect to be working on the following:
Requirements analysis and validation using static testing techniques across both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
Assisting the Test Lead in defining standard and lean test documentation for projects undertaken
Participating in requirements traceability
Introducing/suggesting new processes and techniques
Accurate recording and monitoring of issues
Participation in test planning and estimation using via Waterfall and Agile
Construction and maintenance of API, UI and Mobile automation frameworks to match requirements
UX/UI testing / Regression testing experience
Construction of test cases, assisting the Test Lead in creating test plans, based on business requirements and technical specifications
Executing manual and automated testing cycles, coordinating efforts with the Test Lead, internal and external teams
Documenting test results, ready for compilation into consolidated high level reports
Who we are looking for
Essential Criteria
Strong background in software testing across many disciplines of testing including exploratory, functional, SIT, E2E, UAT and performance testing.Ideal candidate must have 3+ years experience.
Experience in driving manual and automated script construction and testing including Java, Python and Selenium. Also experience in ReST API, Postman, Selenium, UFT and other industry leading automation tools.
Experience using Azure DevOps, HP QC, JIRA and/or comparable platforms
Flexible, independent and self-motivated
Experience in supporting team success and motivating others to keep morale and performance high
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong experience of iterative/incremental software delivery
Experience of working in fast paced environments to strict deadlines
Bachelors Degree or HNC in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
ISTQB Foundation Certification desirable
