We will move fast and competitively when we Client the right candidate. Role As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting research for features in upcoming product releases. You will also be responsible for testing the product compatibility against new technologies. In addition, you will also be providing technical solutions via scripts or workarounds for current customers. This is a technical role, so the candidate will be expected to be hands-on with code. You will be responsible for answering technical questions regarding installation, operation, configuration, customization, performance, and usage for assigned products. You will apply diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions to correct issues. You will also document problems, diagnostic actions performed, customer interactions and next steps, and solutions implemented in the technical support database. Location: Pune, India Responsibilities Develop appropriate solutions for customers either via documentations or scripts. Stay informed about new tools and best practices of the industry. Validate concepts through prototyping. Required Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree, or the equivalent, in a specific specialty such as Computer Information systems, Computer Science, or equivalent. Minimum of 3&plus total years experience in a software technical role. Strong proficiency in one of the scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, C# etc. Up to date on the latest industry trends, able to articulate trends and potential clearly and confidently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Desired Skills and Experience Experience with configuring and administering storage hardware such as NAS (Network Attached Storage) or SAN fabric (Storage Area Network) is a plus Prior Experience with Azure Storage is a plus. Understanding of networking essentials as well as file and Object storage services such as SMB/NFS/S3 Protocols. Linux experience is a plus. Must be a self-starter, independent, and driven to succeed
