Job Summary:
The Director of training is responsible for end-to-end management of all training functions for a business vertical. Primary areas of focus will be new hire client specific training, OJT/nesting, production ramp and continuous learning. The Director would also work with the talent development team to implement the professional development programs.
Job Responsibility:
Lead of team of managers and their trainers to provide best in class training experience to the client partners at Access Healthcare
Ensure that all new hires are trained effectively for job-readiness. Key metrics include 90%+ first time pass yield, meeting quality standards during the 30-60-90 day ramp period and engaging with the new hires to improve job retention
Responsible for defining and developing strategies, curriculum (including instructor-led, off-the-shelf, computer/Web-based, virtual, & multi-media enabled training) in support of business initiatives at both the process and operations divisions
Create & manage curriculum in line with latest business requirements
Ensure all curricula and courseware is current and in line with adult learning pedagogy
Conduct Training Audits per defined training program guidelines
Accurately track and report on key training metrics to the training head and senior leaders to determine the effectiveness of all training programs and compliance with regulatory requirements
Represent the department for all project/process initiatives at a cross functional level and to clients for client reviews
Create learning calendar for regular employees on refreshers, latest errors and bottom-quartile management by taking inputs from operations SMEs, quality and client
Work closely with all support functions like admin, transport and infrastructure teams
Participate in projects as directed by members of the Executive Leadership Team
Analyze data, trends & delivers management information reports for effective decision-making by the leaders
Conduct quarterly performance review with team and provide any necessary coaching
Recognise the high performing team members and foster a culture of excellence
Mentor a pool of potential trainers and prepare them as part-time trainers to provide support during high ramp/transition phases
Participate in quality audits and ensure zero NC.
Basic Qualification: (Mandatory):
12-15 years of experience in call-center business, with at least 5 years in training
Managed a training team with size of 25+ comprising of managers, trainers and voice coaches
Healthcare Background specific to RCM experience would be an additional advantage
Knowledge of adult learning principles and techniques for the current generation of learners
Advanced Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
Ability to give direction to team and lead with conviction and empathy
Advanced skills in preparing and facilitating presentations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organization / multi-tasking, planning and time management skills required
