Job Description
We have been retained by one of the top 10 Pharma Companies to hire Head Formulation Development to be based at the company's plant located at Mandideep (Bhopal). the details of the position are as follows:
- Company: Our client is one of the top 10 Pharma companies with a sales turnover of more than 5,000 crores. The company is multi divisional company, each division promoting products belonging to different therapy area.
- Designation: Head Formulation Development (FRD & ARD)
- Job Location: Mandideep (Bhopal)
- Experience: Minimum of 20 Years of relevant experience in a reputed Pharma Company.
- Job Responsibilities:
Handling Formulation R&D ( Both FRD and ARD) and Technology transfer department of 25 Scientists involved in the formulation development and Technology transfer of sterile dosage forms like liquid injectables, Suspension injections, Lyophilized injections Dry powder injections and solid dosage forms Involving in the identification of prospective molecules for development for USFDA, Europe and RoW markets, costing involved in development, Risk assessment and mitigation with respect to product development, Equipment procurement, training, meeting pre-approved milestones with respect to development, Manpower recruitment, GLP practices, developing products in association with DQA etc.
Handling CMO clients and facing client R&D audits.
Setting up of developmental milestones and ensuring the projects are completed as per commitment.
Conducting periodic client meetings, setting agenda and sharing MOMs.
Construction of new R&D facility.
Goal setting for team members.
Handling client and regulatory deficiencies.
Handling both Non-hormone and Hormone formulation (injectables) and Depot injections.
Handling development of OTC products.
Handling Lyophilized injections and dry powder injectables.
Troubleshooting in shop floor with respect to technology transferred to production from R&D.
