Job Brief:
The Company is looking for anAndroiddeveloperresponsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a vast number of diverseAndroiddevices. Your primary focus will be the development ofAndroidapplications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working along-side other engineers anddevelopersworking on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential. We are looking for an owner who can completelyleadthe APP development part.
Position:Lead Android Developer((Work From Office)
Experience: 5 - 10 years
Location: Andheri (east), Mumbai
Notice Period: Not more than 15-20 days.
Joining Date: As soon as possible.
Responsibilities-
- Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
- Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in Java, Kotlin.
- Knowledge on platforms like Firebase, FCM, etc.
- Knowledge of the open-sourceAndroidecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
- Familiarity with Restful APIs to connectAndroidapplications to back-end services.
- Strong knowledge ofAndroidUI design principles, patterns, and best practices (SOLID, OOPS)
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as touch
- Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization
- Understanding of GooglesAndroiddesign principles and interface guidelines
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Knowledge of Local storage such as SQLite, Core data, Room, etc.
- Deep understanding of offline storage, memory management and multi-threading issues, performance tuning
- Experience handling asynchronous calls using API's
- Openness to learn new technologies
- Strong knowledge ofAndroidSDK, different versions ofAndroid, and how to deal with different screen sizes
- Deep understanding ofAndroidArchitecture - MVP, MVVM, MVI, MVC.
- Familiarity with continuous integration
