Position Purpose
The opening is for a Senior PL/SQL developer Tech Lead who is able to analyze, design and develop for the upcoming changes to the existing as well as new asset within Finance division.
Position is a Technical role with Primary Technical skill in Oracle PL/SQL for the implementation of Finance Management and Control reporting applications. Prior experience working in Finance management and control reporting application will be an added advantage.
This role is technology oriented, which includes defining development methodologies, providing solution, estimation and performing the development.
Responsibilities
- As a tech lead to be responsible for the technical delivery of projects
- Propose technical solutions and improvements proactively, based on pros and cons after analysis of the various options complying to BNPP standards and engineering guidelines.
- Write technical specifications (DB packages and UNIX) and develop/create PL/SQL packages
- Prepare technical deliveries, plan deployment strategy and support implementation by integration teams.
- Contribute to key, strategic and support projects
- Provide guidance, tech review and setup up best practices for the team members on various topics on development and project matters
- Track component obsolescence and plan for upgrade.
- Prepare and maintain technical and architecture documentations
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
- Expert in PL/SQL skill ability to write efficient, complex queries against very large data sets and complex business requirements
- Strong in Oracle database design and modeling and Unix Shell Scripting
- Experience in designing Job scheduling
- Knowledge on Java and Angular as the secondary skill
- Demonstrates analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience in preparing technical and functional test cases
- Experience in preparing Detailed Functional Specification and documentation.
- Able to work independently
- Familiar with Serena and CI/CD tools
