Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for corrective Maintenance
-Receive calls form respective location regarding equipment at fault
-Going to the location of equipment
-Checking the kind of problem i.e. Clinical, Technical, Users
-Calling the company service engineer if the problem is major
Responsible for Installation of New Equipment
Responsible to be present in the hospital in case of any call other than the working hours
Responsible to attend the problem and rectify the problem occurred in the equipment
Responsible to check the working status of machine after its installation
Responsible to correct any fault occurred in the machine at the time of installation
Responsible to Maintain Log Book
Responsible to record all the activity carried out on daily basis i.e. Preventive and corrective maintenance
Responsible for handling Inventory that includes:
- Checking the status of inventory and spare parts
- Filling the requisition form and get it signed by the HOD
- Sending the requisition form to Medical Materials Department
- Ensuring the timely fulfilment on spare parts requirement
Responsible for planning the location of fixing Electrical, Oxygen and medical supply points at various locations in the hospital
Responsible for preparing Duty Roster for the department staff.
Responsible for any other duties as assigned by Associate Director Anaesthesiology
Desired Candidate Profile
B.Tech in Bio Medical Engineering/ Advanced Diploma in Biomedical Engineering and Instrumentation + 10 years of relevant experience
