Qualification: B.Tech in CS / IT / ECE / MCA
Experience: Minimum 5 years
Current Location: Kolkata Office
Job Description:
Technology Stack: MS SQL 2014 to MS SQL 2018 standards and .NET programming language
Reporting and business intelligence tools like Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SAP Crystal Reports
Data Warehousing employing the SSAS or another toolset of OLAP etc.
Open Source database system, such as My SQL
No SQL database systems, such as Mongo DB and Couch DB
Big data technologies like Had loop and Spark
Cloud services like Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure
The Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), specifically Scrum and Agile methodology
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like Gits, VSS Desired Skills: Proficient in understanding new concepts.
Go over the query performance and optimizing the code.
Writing the queries required for front-end applications such as websites, various desktop applications, or the several cloud apps.
Planning and coding the database tables in order to store the applications data.
Data modelling to envisage the database structure.
Functioning with application developers to be able to create optimized queries.
Creating database prompts for computerization, e.g., instant email notifications etc.
Crafting table indexes in order to help in improving the databases performance.
Encoding views, several stored procedures and the functions too.
Should be able to provide solutions in critical issues.
Should be a good team player.
Flexibility for travelling to client locations.
Strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities: Acquire knowledge on companys flagship products.
Understand the client business and provide appropriate feedback on the avenues for expanding business.
Accurately employ organizational development tools.
Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications
Assist in the design, coding, and testing of technical solutions.
Adhere to coding standards defined by technical management
Working closely with analysts, designers and staff
Producing detailed specifications and writing the program codes
Testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live
Interactions: With all employees in the organization.
With clients when engaged on a client assignment.
Within own team or department at supervisory level.
Contact with peers in the Organization.
Interpersonal Skills: Disciplined and self motivated
Excellent communication skills
Good to have previous experience of direct client interaction for project brief, understanding and updates
Strong work ethics, self-starter who is creative with a can-do attitude
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and independently, while maintaining a high degree of communication and escalation
Team player, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work with tight deadlines
Organization skills, be able to prioritize task based on priority level
