Hi Opening for Automation Projects Design - Manager
Job Description
1) Hands-on experience in designing Mechanical & Electrical and controls for Belt conveyors , roller conveyor , Volumetric distribution conveyors, Dimension and weighing systems , sortation systems
2) Selection of component/ sub assembly level OEMs relevant to the electrical design of conveyor and other automation systems
3) Ability to build program logics / interlocks in line with process requirements / safety standards on which the entire warehouse automation functions.
4) Skillful in designing / reviewing the electrical architecture, control architecture and electrical drawings suitable for various automation systems.
5) Strong knowledge in selection of electrical / electronic components and their OEMs that are suitable for the automation system. Including but not limited to PLCs , PLC accessories, SCADA, HMI, Motors, VFDs, switches, field devices, IO links, sensors , scanners, weighing systems, connectors, cables and other accessories
6) Design thinking - understanding the requirements of end user. Convert those into technical problem statements and developing solutions.
7) Preparation of robust RFPs which includes clear design inputs.
9) Hands-on experience in reviewing the complete technical design proposal submitted by vendors. Should be able to identify flaws, suggest for improvement and sign off a flawless design.
10) Time management
Mandatory Skills:
Should be well versed in AutoCAD,
Strong in electrical
Strong in Vendor Management and Stakeholder Management.
Candidate will be required to be an enthusiastic, independent, outside the box thinker, with a strong Design Knowledge and data driven approach to flourish in this role.
Ability to move fast, take decisions and hold the teams accountable to deadlines.
Attention to detail, comfortable working with large Teams.
Desirable Skills:
Understanding of the e-commerce and fashion industry & process layout.
Results-oriented and ownership-driven, can develop independent ideas.
Demonstrated ability in executing results, with strong attention to detail.
Quick learner and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities, including negotiation skills Team player, with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, and ability to manage stakeholders across function
