Roles and Responsibilities
1. Devise movie marketing strategy focused on increasing awareness and engagement of upcoming movies and ultimately increasing footfalls and revenues.
2. Liaison with film studios and distributors to ideate on consumer engagement and cinema activation concepts as well as social content like celeb shout outs, merchandise, premieres, meet & greet and for specific cinema formats.
3. Develop an annual marketing calendar around new releases tent pole and niche content, building propositions based on genre, content, cast, markets and audience base to drive brand preference amongst movie lovers.
4. Liaison with international format partners IMAX, 4DX, CGS for joint promotions and exclusive assets to educate audience about these formats and induce trials.
5. Develop curated content properties including film festivals and around special days / occasion with an objective to generate incremental footfalls.
6. Driving execution of movie marketing campaigns, value proposition, and customer segmentation; creating campaigns along with content generation, meeting end-to-end campaign needs such as mailers, push notifications, offer pages, app banners, and SMS.
7. Employing a variety of communications tools print advertising, digital marketing, strategic partnerships & events marketing.
8. Explore revenue generation opportunities through sale of time slot for promotion i.e. On-Screen trailering, on-ground events, trailer launches and other promotional activities undertaken for the film promotion.
Desired Candidate Profile:
1. Experience in Media & Entertainment industry will be valuable.
2. Good knowledge about the world of movies would be great
3. Experience in go-to-market launch management, acquisition, engagement, product marketing, or partner marketing
4. Experience owning creative input, development and execution from concept to completion
5. Knowledge of majorly commonly utilized Marketing tools, Concepts and Strategies.
6. Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
7. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills and present high-quality documents to leadership.
8. Stellar problem solving and issue resolution skills with the ability to work effectively across stakeholders while maintaining quality and attention to detail. Readiness to roll up sleeves when required.
9. Should have a strong inclination to take on additional responsibilities and ensure delivery with high level of commitment.
