We are hiring Quality Assurance (Testing) Resources for one of the Largest E-Commerce Client.
Role: Quality Assurance Lead / Manager
Exp: 7 to 12 yrs
Location: Bangalore
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned quality leader with proven skills in building a top-notch test team for Android mobile devices , a hands-on QA Lead with experience in defining processes and solutions for ensuring high quality bar in a fast-paced environment, experience in various automation tools and frameworks for app performance testing , Device Component KPIs , well versed with software development and release cycle and is able to communicate effectively with teams across the continents.
We are looking for a talented QA Lead who is passionate about questioning the status quo and believes in disruption- you have a startup mindset that is excited about making inroads into solutions that continuously improve customer experience.
Requisite:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
- About 6+ years of overall experience and at least 2+ years in a QA Manager role.
- Strong background in Hardware or software QA processes for Android Applications and/or Android based devices.
- Strong people management skills with a proven track record in hiring, developing and retaining high performing QA team consisting of SDETs and QAEs.
- Strong QA and Automation background with experience in identifying and reviewing test plans, test cases and testing results.
- Proven track record in identifying and implementing automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Strong project management skills, preferably with experience in an agile development environment.
- Excellent quality and release management skills
- Work with geographically distributed business and development teams.
- Experience in preparing quality metrics and effectively engaging with stake holders to set and drive quality goals
- Comfortable communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings.
- Understanding of Java technologies, XML, JS, CSS, and HTML.
- Experience in Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
- Ability to write/review the code in at least one high level language like Java, C, C# etc.
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
- Experience in Android mobile applications development with sound understanding of Android Architecture, Framework, Android SDK, Core Java, Android Studio IDE, Android Debugger
- Deep understanding of the Android SDK.
- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills using ADB
- Experience in Android SDK tools like Android SDK Manager, AVD Manager, Emulator, DDMS etc
