Lead Development Engineer @ DBS Asia

Job Description

• Lead new development projects from DAH2
• Review solution design/testing strategy and provide inputs to the teams
• Drive prioritization meetings and agree priority with stakeholders.
• Lead and drive review meetings with end-user teams and understand their concerns and priorities.
• Lead and provide technical expertise and leadership to team across technologies specifically JAVA Microservices /Angular / BigData (Spark) and Cloud.
• Propose and implement improvement initiatives.

• 12 -15 years of solid Hands On IT Experience.
• Expert level experience in JAVA/Spring Boot/Microservices architecture and PCF fundamentals.
• Expert level experience with HADOOP, SPARK and HIVE using Java or SCALA.
• Good knowledge in Spark Tuning and ensuring best practices across project.
• Experience in Big Data Architecture, tools and technologies.
• Knowledge on UI frameworks like Angular/React/Bootstrap
• Experience leading teams and interfacing with stakeholders across project in technical and functional areas.
• Continuous Integration, branching and merging, pair programming, code reviews, unit testing, agile methodologies (Scrum/XP), Design Patterns
• UNIX/ Shell scripting.
• RDBMS, preferably MariaDB, MySQL.
• CI/CD.
• Scheduling Tools and techniques
• Experience on ML techniques is added advantage.
