Roles and Responsibilities

• Generate daily bed status report
• Coordinate complete Admission process for hospital In-patients.
• Daily handover Admissions to Front Office (IPD) desk post 8 PM
• Record Maintenance
• Confirm the bed availability and expected discharges for the particular day from the nursing station.
• Allot the beds to the emergency patients, elective admissions and day cath procedures cases.
• Allot the bed to the patient and inform the attendant and the nurse at the respective nursing station.
• Receive the request from the nurse for the transfer of patients/ beds

Responsible to generate Daily status report for submission to the ED office and prepare a daily status report quoting

i. Consultant wise waitlist of patients due for the surgery

ii. List of Post-operative patients.

iii. Daily Schedule for the surgery.

iv. Vacant beds morning status.

v. Consultant wise expected discharges.

vi. Consultant wise day cath procedures.
