Roles and Responsibilities

TITLE: Assistant Finance Controller

DEPARTMENT: Finance

Location - Koramangala , Bangalore

Looking for Immediate Joining candidates and current location from Bangalore.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Require. 2+ years of finance reporting / controllership experience.
CA / CPA qualification is must.

POSITION SUMMARY: Manage, review and supervise the accounting / book-keeping team. Ensure smooth closure of month-end / quarter-end / year-end activities including necessary reconciliations and reporting. This position requires to manage all the AP and AR accounting and payment related matters as well. This position will be reporting to the Finance Controller.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

Manage and direct all accounting activities for the entity.

Supervision and training of the accounting team.

Support financial reporting activities and ensure financial integrity of operations using IFRS.

Completing the month-end / quarter-end / year-end activities and prepare MIS including necessary reconciliations and other reporting.

Effectively manage the entire AP and AR process including the payments.

Ensures compliance with internal controls develop and implement new controls as necessary

Preparation of data for audits.

Effective problem-solving for job-related issues

Support the Finance controller in ad-hoc financial analysis and reports as required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
Fair understanding of Ind-AS and IFRS
Managerial abilities and skills
Proficient in MS office especially advanced excel.
Co-ordinate effectively and interact with other geographies US and Israel
Should take ownership of the accounting process.
Experience in handling different ERPs
