Software Engineer - Bengaluru/bangalore @ McAfee

• Deliver automated functional tests on application components processing data across several db and big data technologies like Aerospike, Elastic Search, Kafka Spark.
• Responsible for Quality of cloud-based security solution.
• Responsible for ensuring application systems are secure, reliable and scalable.
• Build and maintenance of automation code and framework.
• Use cloud infrastructure for setting up systems to deploy and configure application on AWS
• Full participation in the assigned Agile team (e.g., standups, planning, peer reviews, etc.)
• Proactively identify and communicate roadblocks and evaluate and suggest alternatives.
• Collaborate within and outside assigned Agile team
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve skillsets

About You:

• Relevant academic background with 2+ yrs experience in Software projects
• Must have experience with at least one programming language Python/Node Js
• Must understand software design principles, algorithms, data structures and multi-threading concepts.
• Must have experience or passion in building highly automated environment
• AWS experience/knowledge on Kinesis, Lambda, IAM, KMS, Credstash, S3, VPC, EC2, Elastic Search, Cloud watch, Kubernetes will be preferred
• Must have experience/knowledge working on Linux Systems
• Must have problem-solving capabilities and exhibits strong programming fundamentals
