Experienced Procurement professional. Executes processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement goals, negotiations, cost accountability, and/or program execution and expedite activity. Responds to client issues to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly.

• Well Versed with Semiconductors, Passives, Connectors, PCB s, Relay/Switches etc. components used on PCBA.
• Must have worked in Electronics Management team with Global spend and Familiar with Market conditions for electronics.
• Must have experience to Manage and Negotiate with OEM s/Distributors
• Must have experience in contract negotiations and price implementations with OEM/Distributors.
• Must have experience in Supplier relationship management
• Must have experience in Obsolescence management and work closely with Engg/Product management groups to define LTB on obsolete components
• Must have experience to drive Component Engg/Value Engg for driving dual source on Existing portfolio of the parts.
• Must have experience on Cost benchmarking with help of Lytica/IHS tools.
• Must be able to Support NPI/Life cycle management for Electronics components.
• Must have working relationship management with EMS suppliers.
• Must have experience on cost management of Direct/EMS bought out components.
• Must have experience on shortage management of electronics components in complex environment.
• Must have experience in expediting the component shortages / process bottlenecks w.r.t changing forecast /usage environment.
• Prioritizes the support activities for the global plants as per the internal customer criticality.
• Provide root cause corrective action when needed.
• Participate and lead continuous improvement opportunities
• Proactively avoid material shortages and demonstrates horizontal deployment.
• Expedite part shortages specific to Electronics commodity
• Proactively drive root cause corrective action (RCCA) with the supply base
• Interact with suppliers to communicate delivery expectations, forecasts, design changes, lead time management, and material expedites or delays to ensure suppliers meet Supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD) goals.
• Proficient in SAP environment.
• Shall be familiar with know how on MRP in SAP for prioritizing the tasks in line with the internal stakeholder s expectation.

Minimum requirements:

• Education requirements: Bachelor s Degree
• Tactical Strategic Asst. Manager.
• Required skills: Communication, Negotiations, familiarity with ERP MRP systems (preferably SAP Macola)
• Preferred experience: SAP / Macola ERP system experience; 5 or more years of previous site buyer experience; metals/machining category experience
