Senior Software Engineer - Mumbai - Digital @ Digital Management

Job Description

Responsibilities Include:

The person shall be responsible for creating of Test Plans, Creating/Executing the test cases and managing all activities during the test execution to ensure that all the objectives are met as expected.

The requirement should be tested in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with other legacy- and / or external systems.

Functional Tests:

• Understanding requirements, interpreting user stories and deriving test cases for them.
• Preparation of Test Plan and Reviewing of Test Cases
• Execution of test cases through a sprint.
• Sanity / Smoke Test execution, post a software release cycle.
  

Leadership and Reporting:

• Set the expectations to the team on the completing the tasks on time and meeting the deadlines
• Ensure the team is focusing and moving towards the automation for all daily activities
• Sending the weekly reports and update the status of the project to reporting manager and all the stakeholders

Requirements Include:
Domain Experience:

• Experience in Ecommerce and Hybris is a plus.
  

Soft Skills

• Creative solving of technical problems - to ensure the ability translate technical requirements to user stories
• Clear communicator (written and verbal) - to ensure ability to write test plans and test cases. To communicate bugs/issues to the developers and other stakeholders
• Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables - ensures the ability to find the defects at the early stage
• Experience in Test Management Tools and Jira or any Project Management tool

Functional/Technical Skills

• Experiences in Quality Management Software and Processes - Software Development Life

Cycle and Agile methodology

• Understanding of a Defect Lifecycle
• Business process understanding of ecommerce applications
• Prepare Test Plans and Review Test Cases
• Generate daily and weekly Reports
• Selenium Automation skills

• Graduate (B. Tech / MCA)
