The candidate should have a strong network of contacts and business development experience in Refineries, Petrochemical, Experience in equipment manufacturing in any related industries like Pharmaceutical, Water Treatment, Defense & Aerospace field is also preferred for the development of new business verticals. Influential network, a good understanding of emerging trends & technological developments are essential for guiding experienced team & multifold growth of the organization. Position:- VP Sales & Marketing / Business Development. Responsibilities Acquire new clients for Refineries, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Water Treatment, Defense & Aerospace field. Develop a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction. Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs. Arrange business meetings with prospective clients. Addressing or predicting clients objectives and promote company's products and services. Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines Keep records of business development efforts, sales, revenue & analysis for trends, learnings for future references. Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support. Determine customer requirements and expectations to recommend specific products Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers. Develop existing & entry-level staff into valuable Business development & salespeople. Requirements Proven working experience as a Business Development & Sales professional. Experience of 15 + years in Sales and Business Development & related field is preferred. Good network & contacts in the Refineries, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Water Treatment, Defense & Aerospace, Customers, Licensors, PMC, Suppliers. Demonstrated business development & sales track record. (50 to 100 Cr range) Experience in customer support is a plus. Strong communication skills, presentation, professional writing, and negotiations Demonstrated proficiency in forecast accuracy and business management. Motivated self-starter, comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred. Business development spectrum Pan-India. Reporting to the Marketing office in Mumbai. Frequent travelling will be required for business development activities. Note to hiring/ Communication within the Network to influence. Must-haves Proven track record in Business Development (50Cr+). Influential network & contacts are essential with the related field; Customers, Licensors, PMC, Vendors & Suppliers Good Team player, Fare understanding of Manufacturing. Must be able to provide a road map for business development, after looking at our setup, team & business aspiration. Candidate must be ready for Frequent travel for business development.
