Roles Responsibilities

• Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices.
• Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met
• Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.
• Lead and mentor QA team members, as well as manage outside contract testers
• Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated)
• Strong understanding of core concepts related to microservices and good experience testing Microservices, REST APIs, Mobile testing
• Hands on experience planning and testing REST API workflow and hands-on experience in API testing using POSTMAN/Swagger
• Develop and implement test automation framework/s to support various systems and applications within the platform
• Working with the architects and Developers, define platform-specific automation processes and framework to fill the gaps between the as-is processes and industry standard best practices and pilot the same on selected teams/projects
• Contribute to continuous uplift of technical capabilities to support more efficient test methodologies and accelerated project deliveries
• Collaborate with business project teams and technical teams to shape platform test automation strategy
• Identifying and prioritising test automation features for feasibility
• Work closely with your peers to develop their automation testing competencies and skills
• Analyse current state of testing within a specific platform and identify opportunities for initiating or increasing automation Verify the quality of Test Automation deliverables and service levels within the platform.
• Ensure that performance and quality of end products conform to the agreed standards and guidelines while meeting business requirements
• Provide guidance, training and mentoring to project teams and test engineers for the implementation of testing automation processes and best practices as needed
• Develop Automation using (Cucumber, Selenium, using .NET) and generate reports for different applications and systems based on the technical analysis, complexity and reusability
• Hands on working experience in database like MySQL
• Work with the Test/Developer Manager/Leads to provide leadership and formulate individual team strategy for implementing test automation
• Actively promote innovation within the platform via test automation to support improvements in our testing strategy, processes, solutions, people capabilities, and tools sets
