Quality Assessor & Commodity Sales


The primary responsibility of a Quality Assessor is to source Chilli commodity.

  • In charge for price negotiation with the farmer/vendors/sourcing agents, warehouse bagging and packaging.
  • Responsible for the source and price negotiation, for the purchase of best quality products/materials across Krishikan locations.
  • Follow-up transportation, and co-ordinate with the Procurement Manager.
  • Ensure timely delivery of stocks at the lowest negotiated price.
  • Ensure quality check and fulfill all necessary QC parameters of the purchased lots from farmer/vendors/suppliers and also follow up the line of transportation till cargo is delivered to the final destination.
  • Process all requisite purchase-related documents Like Purchase Order, Pro-forma Invoice, Commercial Invoice, Bill of Exchange, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, etc. on schedule.
  • Conducting research to find the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, quality, and delivery schedule.
  • Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead-time requirements.
  • Track orders and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices
  • Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses at a regular interval.
  • Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.

The primary responsibility of a Commodity Sales is to drive sales of Chilli.

  • Research and prospect accounts to identify key contacts
  • Develop targeted multi-channel campaigns to generate new business opportunities
  • Manage accurate database notes and data to illustrate work activities and sales pipeline data
  • Assist with current client base, developing new revenue streams and ensuring renewals and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to travel is essential
  • Proven ability to close sales across multiple stakeholders
  • Deep network of contacts across the agricultural commodity industry and commodity producers is a key advantage
  • Proven track record of operating in the commodity is an advantage
