Developing new user-facing features using React.js and Redux

Building React JS reusable components and front-end libraries for future use

Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

Working with the Product Owner/UX designer to capture business requirements.

Responsible for technical solutions with detailed designs, and proof of concepts.

Responsible for delivering working software of highest quality, meeting specifications and agreed timelines.

Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code with unit testing (automated). Do it right the first time approach with the developer being responsible for his/her own code quality.

Following development practices and often refactoring code to reduce technical debt.

Create documentation as necessary

Responsible for reviewing code of team members.

Responsible for fixing product defects and attending to critical production issues.

Responsible for fostering innovation.

Work with infrastructure, security, and other partners

3-5 years in an engineering role

1-3 years participating in agile development

This will also require working as a Scrum team member if needed in an Agile Scrum model, and to interact closely with multiple stakeholders like Product Owner, System Architects, Management, dependent Scrum teams, Devops, etc.

Provide estimates of user stories in Story Points, and detailed task estimates in hours.

Showcase technical leadership capabilities to own the delivery end to end.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles

Experience with popular React.js workflows and Redux

Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript

Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)

Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus

Familiarity with RESTful APIs

Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token

Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools

Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, Yarn etc.
