Key Responsibilities:
As a member of the Finastra R&D team for Connected Corporate Banking, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to

• Work with both engineering leads and product manager to establish solution requirements
• Execute and host planning meetings to establish project scope & timelines, roles & responsibilities, stakeholder expectations, feature-set, resource management, etc.
• Continually manage client and stakeholder expectations for delivery projects.
• Partner management and resource on-boarding
  • Interview and on-board resources from Finastra strategic partners as required for the execution of programs.
  • Generate Purchase order and SOW for on-boarding partner resources and ensure that all approvals are in place prior to on-boarding
  • Co-ordinate with internal stakeholders for on-boarding

• Execute and deliver medium to large projects both fixed price or time and material, moderately complex in nature ensuring that customer solutions are delivered on time, within scope and budget, given available resources and to the required quality standards
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and device mitigation plans.

• Coordinate issue/defect resolution with development team
• Identify and evaluate project risks and suggest possible contingency plans
• Ensures adherence of quality standards for all projects
• Anticipate problems and complications and formulate solutions so as not to impede the progress of the project.
• Assume responsibility and drive ownership for issue resolution.
• Accountable for on time product delivery, product quality, cost and operations

The Required Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• Degree in Engineering (Computer Science or IT)
• At minimum 8 - 10 years of experience of managing or leading technical / software development project teams
• Experience with project management Tools
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Track record of delivering IT project within budget, scope and schedule
• Strong Supervision, organizational, interpersonal and time management skills and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.

Nice to have

• Project Management certification (Prince2 or PMP) or Agile / Scrum certification
• Technically savvy and able to ramp up on new technologies quickly.
• Production and delivery of KPIs and Reports for varied audiences
• Leverage and suggest software tools and other practices to maximize project success and aid team productivity
