Desired Candidate Profile
Programmers.io is looking to hire Senior Software Engineers, where you should have a high level of experience in web application development using the current Microsoft technologies along with knowledge of database development in SQL Server. Must have the ability to work in a team and desire to work in a fast paced and dynamic atmosphere. Major consideration will be given to candidates who exhibit a strong work ethic, ability to foster teamwork and passion for learning.
Education and Experience:
Post-Graduation in Computer Information Systems or related experience.
4+ years relevant industry experience
Strong understanding and experience in using JavaScript framework ( Ext Js preferable ) along with ASP.Net and C#.
Experience in writing Stored Procedures, and Triggers using Transact-SQL.
Hands on experience in building, configuring and consuming web services & WCF services
Having Experience in build, publish and deploying applications using various tools
Strong understanding of OOPS concepts.
Should have experience of all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle

Technical expertise: Demonstrates knowledge and experience in .net development

High quality standards: accuracy, proficient and thoroughness in unit testing

Organizational skills: Ability to establish priorities for projects to meet goals
Primary Responsibilities:
Get a solid understanding of both the functional and technical specifications of the module task assigned, effort estimates and milestones of the current assignment and have full consent before starting the development.
Follow proper coding standards, application architecture guidelines and procedural guidelines as explained by the respective team lead.
Maintain the time sheet on a daily basis clearly filling the actual effort against the estimated effort. And any unplanned activities, scope creeps, unaccomplished tasks or additional guidance requirements should be immediate brought to the notice of team leads.
Will be responsible for doing a thorough unit testing before and after their respective code components is being integrated into peer codes or main application.
Post integration release they would be responsible for resolving the TFS issues being assigned to them.
Demonstrated ability to adapt and learn new technologies.
