Desired Candidate Profile
- The QA Lead Tester will be responsible for maintaining the proper course of actions and services around Functionality testing planning, execution and reporting on project under supervision. The QA Lead Tester is tasked with coordinating a group of QA Testers handling key testing activities.
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for platform specific game areas on a single project at a time.
- Interfaces with the domain experts (e.g. development and production teams such as ADMs, DMs, Software engineers and Producers).
- Work with the QA test team to define and execute testing in suitable timeframes.
- Effectively applies existing processes. Follows established process and provides feedback.
- Creates specific tests cases designated to cover entirely his area of influence.
- Validates issues under his/her area of influence and ensures quality standards are met.
- Assesses and escalates platform specific issues and concerns to management. Makes sure that the information is accurate.
- Adjust daily assigned tasks based on identified risks and mitigation plans.
- Provide technical support for individual QA contributors on the team.
- Allocates tasks to the team daily and reports on results to QA management. Oversees testing effort on his assigned area of influence.
- Responsible for the quality of the work delivered on his assigned area of influence.
- Follows management (QA Project Lead and QA Project Manager) direction for solving complex issues (blockers).
- Draft reports regarding his activity and present it to team management.
- Should be a product specialist in terms of end-end knowledge of the product and its legacy.
- Should be able to step up to Project Lead responsibility in the absence of the PL.

- Skills and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 4+ years experience in Quality Assurance or comparable development experience
- Experience with various bug tracking tools
- Experience in working on automation tools and other cost effective testing methodologies
- Understanding of quality assurance techniques, frameworks and methodologies
- Ability to find solutions that do not follow a conventional QA approaches
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are critical
- Agile and Games industry experience is a plus
Required Candidate profile
