Job Description
DevOps Engineer
Experience :1-5 yrs
Salary: Best in the Industry for the right candidates
Job Location :New Delhi (currently work from home)
Mode of Interview : Online over Zoom/ Google meet/ Webex
Qualification: BCA/ B.Tech/ B.E. / MCA / Diploma Engineers -preferably in computer science or RHCE certification ( RHCE/ RHCSA) , AWS Certification.
Requirements
1. Linux Systems Engineering, DevOps, IT and/or software engineering work experience
2. Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services ( Amazon Web Services(mandatory), Rackspace Cloud, Docker and OpenStack )
3. Good understanding of Shell scripting. Working Understanding of (Python, Perl and/or Ruby) and Networking
4. Experience of Server Monitoring, Installations, DevOps Build, Release and Continuous Integration tools and frameworks such as SVN, GIT, ANT, MVN, Puppet, Chef, Jenkins, Ansible etc.
5. Familiarity with Nodejs.
6. Experience with Github is an advantage.
7. Quick learning abilities to implement new technologies and troubleshoot issues.
Job Description:
- Fluent in one Scripting languages (Perl, Python, Shell)
- Good experience on working in Linux/UNIX environment and CI/CD
- Good hands on experience in Cloud technology (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Good knowledge of cloud concepts like networking, security, monitoring, instances
- Hands on experience in setting up cloud infrastructure, security, monitoring for enterprise applications
- Have good understanding of automation tools for cloud deployment, configuration management like Terraform, Ansible, cloud formation etc.
- Good knowledge of Continuous Integration and associated tools like Maven, Jenkins, Sonar etc.
- Good knowledge of container based technologies like Docker, Kubernetes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills are mandatory
- Experience of working with Java based applications - Java/J2EE, Spring, Web services
- Understanding of RDBMS Oracle/SQL server/MySQL. Ability to create users/schema/populate data/simple queries for data retrieval
- Good knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies
