IHS Markit Environmental Registry and Auctions department provides products and services for the environmental projects and assets. The IHS Markit registry provides an essential tool for managing global carbon, water and biodiversity credits. It allows participants to track environmental projects and to issue, transact and retire serialized credits. The Registry provides infrastructure that increases transparency, efficiency and scalability within the global environmental markets. The IHS Markit Auctions platform provides comprehensive auction and auction management services across asset classes. The ESG Reporting platform is a one-stop online platform for the collection, storage and dissemination of corporate environmental, social and governance (ESG) data and reports.
Your Role
IHS Markit is seeking a QA Automation Analyst who can participate in the design, development and maintenance of scalable automation framework across suite of multiple products. A programming experience in Java (and Selenium) is mandatory and financial background is preferable as the individual will liaise with technology leads, development teams, Business Analysts, Product Development, Product Managers and Operations/Evaluators teams.
We are looking for a Manual + Automation testing candidate who can partner with developers/business for carrying out QA activities across Environmental Registry products. This role requires working closely with developers as well as business team.
Roles & accountabilities:
- Own QA activities and deliverables for Environmental registry products
- Provide support to the team for estimating, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling test activities (both Manual & Automation)
- Work closely with development and product groups to ensure deadlines are met
- Accurately report test progress to the QA Manager and other stakeholders.
- Execute manual system tests and identify those that can be automated for regression purposes
Your expertise
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Strong proficiency in Java is must.
- Good at Manual Testing
- Willing to learn Automation testing
It s a bonus if you also have
- Experience in Test Automation Tools/Frameworks for example: Selenium WebDriver, SoapUI, TestNG, Jenkins, Maven, Git
- Exposure to Waterfall & Agile methodologies (Scrum/Sprint) is desirable
