Job Description
'Description: The Project Manager is responsible for managing end to end management of innovation related programs (internal & external) at. The role will entail management and execution of PoCs with startups, work extensively with business leaders, will be responsible for ensuring the success of the engagement basis the laid out criteria and manage day to day milestone tracking from a program perspective.As the main point of contact for program operations, they will play a key role towards creating the future of retail and contribute to the success of all innovation teams. We work in an agile environment, the Project Manager is expected to do whatever it takes to get things done be it set up meetings, work on technical scope of work and excel at stakeholder management.
Responsibilities:
You will be assigned one or more startups/internal innovation teams to implement the PoC
You will be responsible for successful execution
You will manage multiple stakeholders including startups, leaders, TMs etc.
Manage relationships and coordinate scheduling of mentors, investors, corporates and partners.
Plan the programs from start to completion involving deadlines, milestones and processes
Create metrics to measure success, refine processes to improve existing workflows, and simultaneously drive multiple programs to success
Implement systems, processes and project management tools to help Acceleration Program Managers
On a weekly basis, report into Lead Accelerator Program manager the status, risks/roadblocks to be addressed
Calendarize important ecosystem events and ensure team representation at those events
Required Experience:
Graduate/Postgraduate
Exposure to entrepreneurial studies, innovation management is desirable
5+ years of experience in startup program management or business development, strategic partnerships, sales leadership, consulting or program/product management experience.
Strong communication and stakeholder management
Experience in running startup accelerator/incubator in the past or working with the startup ecosystem is desirable
Executive presence to hold meetings with senior leaders at
Strong program/project management background with experience leading medium to large projects
Proven track record of simultaneously driving multiple project timelines to meet program objectives and deliver results
Content creation for documenting learnings/project updates
Experience in design thinking/Lean startup methodology is not mandatory but desirable
