Job Description
- Minimum of 5 Years of working experience as an Oracle DB
- Understands Oracle, RAC, data replication and high availability technologies such as RAC, DataGuard, GoldenGate
- Understands Linux and Windows operating systems
- Experience in the following areas
- Data Modeling and Database Design
- Can write DDL/DML for creating database objects (tables, indexes, partitions etc.)
- Can write PL/SQL codes (database procedures, functions and triggers etc.)
- Can perform database application performance baselining and testing
- Knows Oracle encryption technology such as TDE
- Knows scripting language such as shell and/or Python
- Performed Database Performance Tuning including system level and query tuning
- Can run diagnostic reports and analyze the findings
- Database migration experience
- Can assist developers with database activities
- Can work client facing
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Must have extensive knowledge ORACLE APPS DBA and SYSTEM DBA skills
- Must have a good understanding of Oracle Database 11g/12C/19c
- Good understanding and experience in administering Oracle databases in a UNIX or LINUX environment.
- Must have a knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL and Shell/Perl scripting
- Must have experience in handling very large OLTP production databases support,
- Must have troubleshooting experience in Performance Tunning.
Nice to have skills:
- Must have strong team bonding skills
- Strong Client handling experience.
- Must have the ability to think logically and design applications
- Oracle Cloud DBaaS/PaaS
